Arts learning

This term I have been learning about the elements of music. To show this learning I created a soundscape based on a poem I wrote about Christchurch. My soundscape is multistructural because I used a beat by clapping. I use dynamics by making my wood block loud and I used tempo by clapping fast. Overall it went well because my music connected to my poem.

Here's a link for my soundscape👉🏻

In the sky
on the runway
planes sometimes take us off
to other places.

But when I stand
on the stones of the Waimakariri
the line squeaks
while the fish tries to escape.

As I walk down the
I smell chips
from the fish and chip shop.

On frosty mornings
the rugby ball flies from player to player
and my family is cheering on the sideline.

In the distance,
Castle Rock
stands tall.

Christchurch is my home.
